Bwa-ha-ha! I've seen jackalopes mounted in steakhouse restaurant chains alongside stuffed armadillos drinking beer and in kitschy souvenir shops in a lot of Western Old Towns, like Mesilla, NM. And I've thought about buying one for my husband's birthday present year after year. But then it would only be a reminder of my "Is that a jackalope?"
I'd love to see a Ceratogaulus rhinoceros. I just hope they aren't aggressive... And we have a store in SF called Jackalope. It sells pottery.
Elvis meets science?! Who knew! But you must tell all-have you ever seen a jackalope for real?

Well, if I ever see a jackalope I'll tell him hello from you!
